Terms of Service

You represent that you can validly agree to these Terms under applicable law. The Service is not directed to children. If you are a minor, obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian when required.

The parent app and managed AI require Google or Sign in with Apple authentication. Normal keyboard typing works without an account, Full Access, or AI. You are responsible for appropriately securing your account and devices.

Subject to these Terms and Apple’s Usage Rules, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable right to use the App on Apple-branded products that you own or control. If these Terms conflict with Apple’s mandatory terms, those mandatory terms control.

• Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement

The Service provides kana flick, romaji, and English typing, on-device conversion, and user-initiated AI assistance such as rewrite, proofreading, tone change, translation, summarization, free-form instructions, and similar tools, which we may offer, change, add, or remove at any time. AI results can be inserted or replace text; the Service does not send messages for you.

Some features depend on OpenAI, Google, Firebase, Apple, and other third-party services. Separate third-party terms may apply. We are not responsible for outages, changes, discontinuation, quality, or fees of third-party services.

AI output is probabilistic and may be incorrect, incomplete, inappropriate, infringing, or similar to content produced for others. Review all output before sending, publishing, or relying on it. You are solely responsible for how you use it. We are not responsible for the accuracy, suitability, rights status, or consequences of AI output.

The Service is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, employment, or other professional advice. Obtain review from a qualified professional for important decisions.

Depending on the feature, AI tools and Japanese Cloud Conversion require iOS Full Access, photo access, and your agreement. Normal typing works without Full Access.

The Privacy Policy describes collection, destinations, storage, retention, and deletion. Before processing another person’s confidential or personal information, make sure you are authorized to submit it.

Managed AI is subject to plan limits, monthly resets, rate limits, and other usage restrictions. Current remaining uses and limits are shown in the App. We may change or suspend limits, reset rules, or covered features without individualized prior notice for reliable operation, cost control, or abuse prevention. Unused uses do not roll over, and continued availability of any particular limit or feature is not guaranteed.

We do not currently intend to charge users for the Service. Whether paid features will be introduced later is undecided. If we ever introduce paid features, we will state the conditions separately. Even then, the disclaimer and limitation of liability in these Terms are intended to continue to apply.

• Using the Service in violation of law, public policy, these Terms, or third-party terms
• Harassment, threats, fraud, impersonation, discrimination, or infringement of another person’s rights
• Malware, unauthorized access, service disruption, exploitation of vulnerabilities, or bypassing security
• Circumventing usage limits, authentication, App Check, rate limits, or other protections
• Selling, lending, transferring, or sharing accounts, tokens, API keys, or access rights
• Infringing intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights
• Reverse engineering, modifying, copying, or redistributing except where applicable law permits it
• Any conduct we reasonably determine interferes with operation of the Service

Rights in the Service, name, interfaces, software, text, design, and other elements belong to us or their respective owners. Rights in your input remain with you or the original rights holder.

Rights in AI output are determined by applicable law and relevant third-party terms. We do not warrant that output is exclusive, different from output for others, eligible for protection, or free of third-party claims.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including inputs you send to AI and your use or publication of outputs, except to the extent caused solely by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.

We may restrict features, suspend use, or suspend an account without advance notice when you violate these Terms, create a security risk, misuse the Service, when required by law or third-party providers, or when we otherwise determine it necessary for operation.

You may stop using the App, sign out, or request account deletion. Deletion of accounts and related data follows the Privacy Policy and guidance from our contact channel. Provisions on AI output, limits, prohibited conduct, intellectual property, indemnity, liability, changes to these Terms, governing law, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive, remain effective after termination.

We may change, temporarily interrupt, or discontinue all or part of the Service for improvements, maintenance, security, legal compliance, cost, third-party changes, or other reasons. We may provide notice of material changes through the website, in-app notices, or other methods we consider appropriate, but we may omit individualized notice for emergencies or minor changes.

Features may be unavailable because of device, OS, network, host-app, or third-party limitations. Custom Keyboards may be replaced by the system keyboard in Secure Text Entry and other protected contexts.

The Service is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors or harmful elements, the quality of AI output or conversion candidates, or that data will not be lost.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising out of or related to use of or inability to use the Service, including direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss, loss of data, lost profits, or third-party claims, whether the Service is provided free of charge or for a fee.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for our willful misconduct or gross negligence, or liability or consumer rights that cannot be limited under mandatory law.

We may update these Terms at any time as needed. Updated Terms take effect when posted on this page, or on a later effective date we specify. For material changes, we may describe the effective date or substance on the website or in the App and may ask you to review the current terms in the App.

If you use the Service after a change takes effect, including by signing in to the parent app or using managed AI, you are deemed to accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and, if needed, request account deletion.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance. Mandatory consumer rights in your place of residence are not affected.
